HANNIBAL HEADS OUT ON LOAN

Manchester United midfielder Hannibal will join Sevilla on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

The Tunisian international will ply his trade in La Liga after securing a move to the Ramon Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.

He is hoping to help Quique Sánchez Flores’ team move up from 17th place, which currently sits one place above the relegation zone.

Former Red Adnan Januzaj is also named in the club’s squad.

After joining the youth team from Monaco in 2019, the 20-year-old made his Premier League debut in a 2-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on the final day of the 2020/21 season, and was impressed by his combination of skills.

A loan move to Birmingham City during last Championship season helped him widen his experience.

After his return to Manchester, he impressed in pre-season, scoring in a 3-1 home defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion in September, under manager Erik ten Hag.

This marked his first appearance for the top team.

He went on to make nine further first-team appearances in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Carabao Cup and Emirates FA Cup.

He came on as a substitute in the final stages of the FA Cup third round win over Wigan Athletic earlier this month and will aim to become a regular in Spain.

Good luck to Hannibal!
